BirdCrazy, Welcome to the SSC! We encourage you to work through the online quit program in preparation for your quit date. If you have any questions just ask. You've certainly set a great running goal for yourself! Danielle, Bilingual Support Specialist

hello everyone! my official quit date it Friday 6/29/07, this time its for good! i finally realized how much im screwing up my body when i tried to run a mile and nearly fell over. i was embarrassed for two reasons: 1. i couldnt run it in 10 mins, this is coming for someone who ran a mile in about 6 mins. 2. my breathing was so heavy at the first 10 feet of running! i refuse to torture my body anymore, and i will run a 6 minute mile again, infact im going to start running 10K's and even make an attempt at the next years mud run! good luck to all of us, we will quit, and not think of ever smoking again!
