Hello and welcome! I too took up running to avoid weight gain during my quit. I'm proud to say I ran 3 miles yesterday and quit because my legs were tired- not my lungs!! Best of luck to you- keep us posted. Birdcrazy I understand your frustration...I too took up running as part of my behavior motification and it was tough getting started...For me my lungs had to catch up with my legs and then my legs had to catch up with my lungs..etc Good attitude, this is the right decision...stay strong this is a great place to get it done... nonic My Milage: My Quit Date: 12/25/2006 Smoke-Free Days: 189 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 5,670 Amount Saved: $1,323.00 Life Gained: Days: 34 Hrs: 14 Mins: 41 Seconds: 28
