Yes just Kick his ash, he cannot win, you are stronger than he is, just keep letting him know, he will get the hint someday, That ole nicodemon is a real stinker, he will crawl up your back and sit right on your shoulder, just keep knocking him off until he leaves you alone. take care tresa My Milage: My Quit Date: 8/8/2002 Smoke-Free Days: 1786 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 35,720 Amount Saved: $6,251.00 Life Gained: Days: 251 Hrs: 20 Mins: 25 Seconds: 1

Hello Silvia, You're doing it!!! It took a little while but you're feeling it and that's important to your quit. For me the cravings were mind numbing for a day then steadily decreased with each day. The mind numbing craves could wake you out of a deep sleep, I couldn't think until they passed and they always passed. These cyclical craves don't last. For the seemingly spontaneous craves that follow, feeling is important. I used anger to counter them once I identified the specific trigger: after waking, following a meal, after accomplishment, and so on. There are many triggers and it was almost like an arcade shooting gallery. One pops up and you knock it down. Another pops up and so on. It's countering the junkie think. Have you read that one? Ilyk Sounds like you've got the hang of it. NOPE no matter what is the only way to quit. Craves will come and go but just take them one at a time and get through them. Like riding a wave in the ocean, it will pass and the sea will be calm again. Determination is what it takes and it sounds like you have plenty of that! Congratulations on not giving in. You are on your way now to freedom! Enjoy the journey. No problem Ilyk, you are doing great and it's only a little while longer till everything eases up a bit - for the last 3 days my cravings have been pretty ok - about a 5 out of 10 instead of like 9 or 10 on day 3....so look forward to your increasing sense of freedom over the next few days...
