Nope.. couldn't go back to sleep. Instead I took a long hot shower and now I'm going out for a walk. It's the beginning of a very beautiful day and I want to get out before it gets too hot. I've got my water bottle and some gum so I think I'm set. Ok.. took a deep breath and here I go! Have a great smoke free Sunday :) My Milage: My Quit Date: 6/23/2007 Smoke-Free Days: 1 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 15 Amount Saved: $5.44 Life Gained: Days: 0 Hrs: 3 Mins: 29 Seconds: 4

'Morning Ex Roller, It's a 24 hr patch and I'm hanging in .. just soooooooo tired and felt soooooooooooo confused with that craving. It was really bad :( I'm just now sitting here, the craving has gone, but I surely don't want to go through THAT again. It's really disturbing you know? I just didn't expect it and my body felt like it was turned inside out - shakey, sweating and overall yucky! I put on another patch right after I woke up and will do more reading about it.. I did get a lot of info from my pharmacist about it and was just trying to avoid the sleep disturbance mostly because I already have a heck of time with falling asleep and then staying asleep. I suppose it's just a matter of trial and error until I figure out which one is the lesser of two evils. Thanks so much for responding so quickly :) My Milage: My Quit Date: 6/23/2007 Smoke-Free Days: 1 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 15 Amount Saved: $5.44 Life Gained: Days: 0 Hrs: 3 Mins: 13 Seconds: 58

Wow, Sam - just hang in there won't you? I don't really know about the patch as I am going cold turkey, but I would suggest following the manfacturer's directions or if you got from doctor, then follow doctor's suggestions. Are you using 24 hour patch or just daytime one? If 24 then I would leave for 24 - if you don't want one overnight, I would change to the daytime patch.... The main thing is do whatever makes you feel better to keep your quit...certainly I would keep the patch on for now... Massive hugs from me - you can so do this!!! I was woken up at 2:30 a.m. with such a craving ! ! ! ! I'm using the patch and I read that if you sleep with it on your sleep patterns may be disturbed, plus some vivid dreams so I figured I'd remove it about an hour before I went to bed last night.. And now here I am WIDE awake and stumbling around with a glass of water in hand. It's not a nice feeling waking up like that but I'm hanging in. I now wonder if I should leave the patch on.. oh I'm so confused.. and confusion comes to me quite easily. Any suggestions.. leave patch on? take patch off? I can't possibly go through waking up at such a cruel hour every day you know? Soooo tired :( My Milage: My Quit Date: 6/23/2007 Smoke-Free Days: 1 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 15 Amount Saved: $5.44 Life Gained: Days: 0 Hrs: 3 Mins: 11 Seconds: 4
