OH Ex :) So kind of you.. thank you ! When I get online I will be sure to come to this thread and let you know how tonight goes. I'm feeling confident and positive that all will go better tonight with the patch on while I sleep. *crossing my fingers and toes* LOL! So you're 6 hrs ahead of me you think.. I'm usually online, my normal time between 5 a.m. and 7 a.m. All set to watch some t.v., not think..hehe.. and just zone out - snacks and water right beside me :) My Milage: My Quit Date: 6/23/2007 Smoke-Free Days: 1 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 20 Amount Saved: $7.25 Life Gained: Days: 0 Hrs: 4 Mins: 54 Seconds: 54

Yes Josie, a lot of great advice :) Well I'm all set for tonight re the patch - leaving it on and see what happens. I'm sure everything will be fine, I just got a little spooked about the sleep disturbances. But when I think about it everyone reacts differently so hopefully all will go well. You've all be wonderful offering up encouraging words and advice... Hi, About the patches, I did the patches, wore them 24/7 no problem at all. Slept better and had the most wonderful dreams, loved it, I miss the dreams really bad, lol. I have had some suggest that I get the 2 mg. gum and use only when it is unbearable. I will do watever it takes to never smoke again. Much luck to you, I am here if you need me! hugs and prayers, Bobbi My Milage: My Quit Date: 3/27/2007 Smoke-Free Days: 89 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 2,670 Amount Saved: $222.50 Life Gained: Days: 13 Hrs: 2 Mins: 20 Seconds: 45

Lots of great advice here! You may want to continue with the patch program and keep it on at night. Check with your doctor or pharmacist, if you experience any side effects. Josie, Support Specialist

Hey Sam, I did the patch. I used it 24/7. The sleep disturbances seem to happen patch or not. Don't put the patch on right before bed, allow at least three hours, or it wil really keep you awake. The dreams did not bother me, thay are just dreams, I actually missed them a bit when I was finished the patch. I used to put it on about 8:00 am in my morning routine. Hope this helps! :) My Milage: My Quit Date: 3/5/2007 Smoke-Free Days: 111 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 2,775 Amount Saved: $1,171.05 Life Gained: Days: 13 Hrs: 14 Mins: 14 Seconds: 30

Sam My Beauty this is how the patch works. You put it on in the morning and you leave it on for one night if you have realy lovely dreams  you leave it on the 2'nd night. When you start to have bad dreams you take it off at night take from an expert . ;p My Milage: My Quit Date: 3/20/2007 Smoke-Free Days: 96 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 1,728 Amount Saved: $960.00 Life Gained: Days: 21 Hrs: 23 Mins: 11 Seconds: 44
