I'm still off the smokes and doing fine... How did everyone celebrate their month (or are about to)? I had a night out at an African restaurant I'd been wanting to go to. Good night with friends, good food and NO standing out in the cold to have a smoke before the coffee! Very liberating... wnt2befree, Looks like you are free! What a great name. Craves coming at stressful times but I am completely off the patch since a little over a week ago and things are doing well. Getting real weepy at times but that will pass I am sure. Aren't we all a bunch of beautiful strong Mayflowers? Great wnttbfree, I am glad that you are feeling so good. There are so many benefits to being smoke free. So, another Mayflower checking in. I am determined to have this be my final quit. I am done with the back and forth limbo existence of smoking, then not smoking, then smoking. It is tooo tiring. So, happy to report that i have not had even ONE PUFF in my 20+days. So, congratulations to all of us Mayflowers. Onward to freedom! new me My Milage: My Quit Date: 5/26/2007 Smoke-Free Days: 25 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 600 Amount Saved: $125.00 Life Gained: Days: 3 Hrs: 12 Mins: 12 Seconds: 15

wnt2befree, I am doing great! I can't remember when I felt this good. I also look fabulous even if I do say so myself. I can smell things again (& I don't smell), taste food, I sleep better, don't wheeze, have far more energy & life is just a lot better not smoking. Best of all, I don't get those weird little painful "explosions" I used to get in the side of my head. They kind of worried me. I do get a crave or a "thought' once in awhile but I rarely have to talk to the junkie anymore. I just shake me head & think, "where did that come from? I don't smoke, why would I want a smoke?" I am on the patch, mind you, so I still have a distance to go but I am SO looking forward to being nicotine free as well as smoke-free, I can't wait to be finished with them, not at all nrevous about stepping down. Glad you're doing awesome, too. What about the rest of the mayflowers? Maybe it's party time??? ;p My Milage: My Quit Date: 5/13/2007 Smoke-Free Days: 37 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 740 Amount Saved: $407.00 Life Gained: Days: 3 Hrs: 18 Mins: 24 Seconds: 56

I'm doing better than I thought I ever could. My craves are pretty much gone, I'll still get one out of nowhere but they're very managable. It hasn't been easy at all, luckily my friends and family have been so understanding. My quit has been a rollercoaster ride and I think it's finally leveling off. I hope all you Mayflowers are feeling as good as I feel! Just wanting to hear from all May quitters, please let me know how you're doing.
