Dona, I can relate to your post--------I have been soooo teary eyed lately & tired that I can't stand myself. I feel like a burden to my husband & just don't know what else to do at this point. My med----Tofranil just isn't cutting it any more. I am strongly considering starting the very potent MAO inhibitor Nardil just so I can SMILE. The years wasted of my life is a shame------I don't want to be a burden I want to be independent & happy. My husband has been VERY supportive, but I'm sure it's getting to him------how couldn't it????

I understand how you feel. I am a mom, married and no one really understands how those **** panic attacks are. Thus, it is 3:15 in the morning and I am visiting here. I have been cutting back on my Lexapro and that was probably not a good thing so I plan on getting back to my regular dose.

Hi Dona I think you really should go to see a doctor, they will help you with medication. I remember myself, and how i suffered with this for months, thinking and hoping it would just pass on its own and i didnt bother going to a doc. In itself that made my agrophobia and panic worse because i didnt know what was happening, how to self control some of the symptoms like breathing properly,(which is where the dizzyness is caused) and in the end got into a right old mess, simply because i didnt get proper help. you could also be suffering from deppression, which is important to get treated just by itself. Try to force yourself to go, it's really worth it and it will make you manage your symptoms much better. Best wishes Mudslinger

Have you tried to see a doctor, or some kind of health care for it? If you are too afraid to go, ask your husband to go with you, and let him tell the person what you have been experiencing, and just talk about it. Maybe they might have some answers. Also, follow the Panic Program and see if it helps. It has helped me.

Hi everyone. I have had attacks for about 4 or 5 years on and off but this time its been going on alomst a year and the past two weeks it has become to much to handle. I feel dizzy all day I can't sleep I feel down all the time. If people just look at me it makes me cry. I honestly think I can't take it anymore. I hate leaving the house but hate being there. My husband does not understand. He am always trying to make him happy because I kow Im a hard to live with most of the time. I don't take med I am too scared.
