Hi Pen,
Congratulations twice over! I had a great day yesterday at the Turner watercolours. The exhibition is not very big (and it's free!), but fabulous in understanding how he built up the complexity using colour washes and studies over a number of years. Then it all comes together in the 'Blue Rigi.' No print can do justice to seeing the real thing.
After the Turner, I went to the Summer Exhibition at the Royal Academy which was great fun - pictures, sculputures, light experiments etc. I have never been before, but I am definately going back next year. Star of the show is the floor to ceiling Hockney (I'm a big Hockney fan).
I am sure you and Luna will adore the Turner.
Lizzie :)
