Mornin' all! Of course, one thing about this place, when you post you know someone will answer that has had something similar happen or tell you its ok. So I posted and went to bed. I do feel a bit better today. At least not weepy. Mexcio, Thank you so much for the support on your first quitting day! How is it going for you today? So glad you posted! Stick with us, its not often like my days, I promise. Unhooked, Fried Green Magnolias is my favorite movie, Thanks, you always make me smile, no matter what! 4my2girls, Thanks for the advice, I usually try to ignore the anniversary things, hoping they don't exist, but you may be right, that may be exactly what was happening. Iamllclear, teehee, yes it feels like a setup doesn't it, you 're goin along so nicely and bam! Thanks for your help. Aloha, Do you know what a sweetheart you are????? Thank you. I did do 1 fudgsicle (sugar free), but may have to see if they have suagr free creamsicles. Thank you for all your help, whenever I ask, you are there! Thanks to all of you. I hope this is the last of the anniversary quirks, it certainly was the most annoying one. The silver lining in it all, is I didn't even think of having a smoke. That is something! I feel so much better now! Thanks guys for letting me rant, whimp and share. It certainly eases the pain considerably. ON with the day! :) My Milage: My Quit Date: 3/5/2007 Smoke-Free Days: 107 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 2,675 Amount Saved: $1,128.85 Life Gained: Days: 13 Hrs: 2 Mins: 20 Seconds: 54

Penguin had the whole original post and bumped it up yesterday. It helped me, maybe you want to take a look at it? No matter what, you, and all the rest of us, will get through this. Just some uncomfortableness, it will pass. If nothing else works, try creamsicles.....worked for me ;p Im on im if you want to chat -aloha My Milage: My Quit Date: 3/22/2007 Smoke-Free Days: 90 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 3,600 Amount Saved: $612.00 Life Gained: Days: 12 Hrs: 13 Mins: 11 Seconds: 50

I know exactly how you are feeling. I went through it too. There is something around the 100 day mark.......... You know......... even when you did smoke, you still had rotten days, right? This might be just that - rotten days. I say, do something wonderful for yourself. When was the last time you rewarded yourself? That always lifts spirits! Try it! Wake up tomorrow realizing that you are doing a wonderful job! Be proud of yourself! Looking at the happier things right now will make those ugly ones fade away!..................... 4my2girls My Milage: My Quit Date: 3/5/2006 Smoke-Free Days: 472 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 14,160 Amount Saved: $1,543.44 Life Gained: Days: 38 Hrs: 9 Mins: 38 Seconds: 44

Certainly have had days like this. Part of me says that its a set up. Another part of me says that smoking took a long time to enwrap itself around my physch. and it will take some time to unwrap. Another part of me says that we all have bad days. period. and now we need to figure out how to deal with IT w/o a cigarette. I believe you can do it. It is not easy. Quitting is not for the weak of heart. Stubble buddy, I can't answer your question because I don't remember from the last time I was quit that long. I just wanted to give you my hand & let you know I'm here. Sorry you're having a bad time but AWESOME that you don't feel like smoking, that's fabulous. What can I do, do you want to watch Fried Green Magnolias with a container of Haagen Dasz & do our toenails in the treehouse? Whatever you need, I'm there. good for you for staying of ciggarets that long. I have quit many times before on the patch but have gone back to it. This is my first time quiting cold turkey. When I had quit for 3 months before I was exactly the same with the mood swings. I was on treadmil at the gym once & I just started crying for no absolute reason. I just wanted a cigarette. The suspense was bugging me . I gave in and bought a pack. I must say I felt worse when I had the cigrette then I felt crying on the treadmill. Some advice how I coped with those emotions in the past. I would write in a journal about the good things that happend to me in the day. Another is deep breathing that really works. Also going for long walks that one really works. I hope these few tips work. Yesterday and today, I have had the absolute worst days in my whole 106 days quit. I have been stressed, near tears most of the time, or very angry and upset. There is no reason for this. I had a totally great weekend and just woke up pissed off yesterday and it went downhill from there. To top it off I beaked off at work (which I NEVER do) and feel even worse because of it. I am spooked at this, there is no reason for it. Can't go to my Doc cause shes an hour away and it takes three weeks to get in to see her. It can't be from the quit, could it? Cause its been long enough, I think. So what else could it possibly be? The one surprising thing is, I don't even want to smoke. NOPE, it never even crossed my mind, which is remarkable considering how emotional I have been. I just want to go to bed and stay there. Has anybody had a couple of days of awful mood swings like this, at this stage of the game? My Milage: My Quit Date: 3/5/2007 Smoke-Free Days: 106 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 2,650 Amount Saved: $1,118.30 Life Gained: Days: 13 Hrs: 1 Mins: 15 Seconds: 59
