Danielle,
I'm mamakitty's #1 fan! I like the planes that do long flights because they have TVs and the seats are comfier and they always have a kid show or two on the TV instead of all adult TV. The trip to Paris is going to be fun. We leave one week from today on Friday!
Did you know that bastille day, Their Fourth of July, is when their king was not doin' to good. He was a worried mess, and was not doing anything about it, so, they chopped off his head, and now celebrate this happily bloody holiday!
Have a nice day! P.S. I'm never going to smoke!!

Mamakitty,
Dreams about smoking are quite common among quitters and they will subside with time. You're body is trying to heal so do be sure to take good care of yourself in the days to come.
P.S. Tell your #1 fan I said "hi" back. No better reinforcement than that!
Keep up the great quit! We are proud!

MK, I had the same thing with a balcony at the beach the week we quit. Dh and I would always go on the balcony, have a drink, look at the beach.
Dh thought of other things for us to do on that balcony :D I have new memories now, and you will too.
Buy some wine, french breach and brie and snack out there!

Thanks! I promise that I won't try them:)
Last night I had a dream that I took 2 or 3 puffs of a cigarette while driving! I felt bad about myself, and was relieved when I woke up and found it wasn't true.
My throat has been a little sore the last two days and it felt so real! Good thing I'm aware this time that it's because my body is trying to heal. I used to think that I needed to smoke to bring my body back to the normal that I created over 32+ years!

PS Phil, were those the brightly colored skinny cigarettes in the fancy metal tin? My brother and I tried those in high school. Cool looking, but kind of the tobasco of cigarettes:)

Congratulations on one week, Mamakitty!
The worst is over!
Yes, going on a trip without dying for a cig on the plane or looking for a place in between flights, or having to go through security after smoking....is heaven. You're going to like it :)

That would be fun Anna! In a way I will be taking you along, because I plan on printing all these posts and packing them to read for support when I'm there:)
It helps to hear that you have felt these things too Gen, and that you don't feel that way now. I'm trying to fill my mind with lots of info and truth, which gives me hope. I do feel much more positive today, and I'm actually looking forward to not having to hunt for spots to smoke before, during and after airports!
Have a great trip in August!!
Good night all,
MK
PS Danielle, my 10 yr. old daughter knows I come to this site and read some of your notes along with me this morning. She sees me typing again, so gave me a hug and said "thanks for quitting smoking mom. Can you tell that lady Danielle I say hi?:)" I hope my struggles and triumphs make a big difference in her future...
