I'm not an Ashkicker but I am a very good friend of Jean's and I just wanted to pop in and let you all know that you are doing fabulous with your smoke free lives ! Keep strong, stick with a positive attitude and you'll come out with flying colours :)
I really think that Jean will be coming back in a little bit.. probably within a week. I've been in very close contact with her and she just needs some space to work things out inside her head. She's getting bad craves which I know all too well are associated with her high stress levels, but she's fighting them off and that's what's important. She does miss coming here but she wants to come back with less of a heavy heart - she's been hurt badly and is terribly heartbroken. I give her so much credit for not giving up her quit.
In the meantime, keep up the great job you are all doing !
((((((((((hugs))))))))))
Monica

OMG, I just noticed that I haven't smoked over 1,000 cigarettes! That's a lot of wasted energy puffing on smokes. Now I pucker for different reasons ;p I'm not afraid to kiss anymore because I know my breath doesn't smell like a filthy ashtray.

Hello Ashkickers,
Thank you to Shakes for starting a new thread. I have locked the old one to minimize any confusion.
Laughing,
In regards to your fatigue, do keep in mind that both nicotine and caffeine are stimulants that boost your metabolism, leading you to feel like you have more energy.
Luckily, this fatigue should pass within the first few weeks after quitting. Until then, if you feel like you need a nap, take one.
Danielle
