You guys are the greatest even when I get ugly your right there !! I realy should be excedingly gratefull that I have no visible side effects from my smoking. When I was 18 I was diagnosed with T.B.turns out I had been exposed to this disease and my immune system had fought it off leaving me with scar tissue on my lungs. If anybody should have never smoked it was me as this scar tissue could have turned to cancer in a heart beat. But here I am salty old Bear that I am laughing and scratching and having a good time ( most of the time )chatting up a bunch of younger women life is good. ;p P.S Nance Frip is doing great she,s showing some buds and as soon as she flowers I,ll post a picture if I can find out how to change a picture on this dam site.I,ve tried to change pictures several times without success ??? Bear you be as mean as you need to be. Everything will be fine in a few days. I believe my strongest craves to date were on days 86 and 87. I quit cold turkey. There were no new triggers or stresses to cause this. It kinda caught me off guard as their has been days I haven't even thought about a cigarette. Must be the 90 day psychological thing? I don't know. Hang in their bear. "If I had known then what I know now I would have never started to smoke." So now you do know better. Now straighten up or we will be calling the park ranger in on you...We do have a ranger don't we?

Guess what? You have a partner....I go patchless tomorrow, so we will do this together, OK? I was talking about you tonight. I was at my parents for dinner. My father (he's 77) was diagnosed with emphysema 1 1/2 months ago...and...he is smoke free 3 weeks. I was mentioning to him that there are some older gentlemen on this site who have quit, and that they have shown me that it is doable (even at his age). He has smoked for 60 years, and I have never known him to quit. I am so proud of him, and I want to be able to keep telling him about you and how you are showing that it is doable. Keep it up. We will be Nic free!!!!! Bear, I know you are going to hang in there. You have had bumps in the road before and rolled right over them...eventually. You have posted your truths here on your bad days and your good days. Don't see any reason for you to stop doing that, do you? You have friends here, you have support here, and you have 78 smoke free days and an additional 18 days of life gained. And FRIP, how is Frip anyway? There are many here who need to hear the truth from you, in your own inimitable style. Don't deprive others of your wit and wisdom. So buck up, buckaroo, fight the good fight for a day or so and you will be victorious. You know the drill.
