Hi, Greg and welcome! Take a look at the quit program tools over to the left. The workbook is really worth doing. I remember those feelings of wanting to fast-forward, but a war is one battle at a time, and this war against addiction is no different. One day at a time. And when necessary, one minute at a time. Sounds like you've got great support! And you'll find even more here at the SSC. Cigarettes Not Smoked

Rusty suggested that I introduce myself here. (I'm hope that I'm doing it right.) I'm on Day Three. It is tough, but not as tough as Day One or Day Two, which i hope to never repeat again. To that end, i'm going to remain quit so I don't have to stop again. I own a small business (construction). My guys are really supportive of my not smoking, but it is hard. i also have some friends who are very supportive of my stopping. Nonetheless, I wish I could fast forward to about day 100 (or even 1000), when I'm think the pangs will be a lot less. Oh well. One day at a time.
