Personally, on this quit, I have "slipped" 3 times and never relapsed... mainly due to the awesome support I received from this site. But it DID bring a lot of junkie thinking with it like "see?!?! You slipped 3 times and never relapsed! So you CAN do it every once in a while and it won't affect your quit! You CAN stay quit after a slip because you have 3 times!" Pure junkie thinking and I'll NEVER listen, but I do think that others do. It's like "well, that wasn't so bad... I didn't have any increased cravings due to my slip, so I CAN smoke every once in a while," and THAT is where the most damage is done. That's how EVERY single one of my quits before this one ended. And that's what's so dangerous about slipping!
