Hi my name is Tim I live in NYC I have smoked a pack a day for the last 22 years, and I am stoping because I have Palmo Plantar Psoriasis which is strongly connected to smoking, (99.8% of all people with palmo plantar psoriasis are smokers). The condition has been so bad that in January I could not walk for two weeks. I figured that if stoping smoking will help my skin then I have nothing to lose. In some ways this makes it easier to stop, but in others it makes no difference. I stopped on Tuesday and I'm doing ok, (very cranky and stressed). All I have to do is take a look at my ravaged feet to remind myself why I am putting myself through this. I am somewhat fearfull that if stoping does not help my medical problem, I will turn to smoking again. Anyway thanks for the support I have recieved thus far, and in advance for all the support I know I will need down the road. If any of you have this condition I would be interested in knowing if stoping helped.
Thanks,
Tim
