Thanks guys! And I know that I want to quit more than I want to smoke. But I know why I failed! I am trying to do to many things at once! And next thing you know I am smoking although I didn't smoke the whole thing. My stats are my life and when I start over I know I need to learn from my mistakes. This time around I am going to take things slower, and make my resolve to not let this addiction control me. Today has been o.k. I have my cherries and carrot sticks for my afternoon slump. so here I go! ~Valic My Milage: My Quit Date: 5/24/2007 Smoke-Free Days: 0 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 0 Amount Saved: $0.00 Life Gained: Days: 0 Hrs: 0 Mins: 50 Seconds: 47

Valic, If you have done a lot of reading on this site, you will have read numerous times: " you have to want to quit more than you want to smoke " That's the first key to a successful, lifelong quit. Good luck! :) Nance My Milage: My Quit Date: 2/14/2007 Smoke-Free Days: 99 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 2,970 Amount Saved: $480.15 Life Gained: Days: 13 Hrs: 20 Mins: 30 Seconds: 26

I was like that when I was 28! I fear that you may have to wait until your 40's to make it stick......unless you know otherwise!! I challenge you, young valic, to prove me wrong!!! :) My Milage: My Quit Date: 5/18/2004 Smoke-Free Days: 1101 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 22,020 Amount Saved: 5,505.00 Life Gained: Days: 176 Hrs: 20 Mins: 46 Seconds: 43

Hello Valic Thats why I stand by N.O.P.E. (NOT ONE PUFF EVER). I know where I would be if I even took one puff. That is how addicted i was to those nasty cigs. I wish you luck this time and let us know how we can help you. We all want to see you succeed and we're here for you. :) My Milage: My Quit Date: 3/1/2007 Smoke-Free Days: 84 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 2,100 Amount Saved: $420.00 Life Gained: Days: 8 Hrs: 22 Mins: 25 Seconds: 2

Hey well I am here again! I know it was just one cig but that one can turn into more if I don't reset my stats. So here I go again. We shall see...
