Kiwi, Thank you so much for your post! It totally helped me see that this journey is so worth it despite the hardships. And to know that I may be able to sing too! Kiwi, I personally cannot tell you enough thank you's. Many of us need to hear that. Espeically some if us who have stats climbing, but each day we are stil taking one at a time. I am just beginning to see things ease up....and I am at 130 days!! I failed so many times. I tried it all. I too felt exactly like you. I was the nieve quitter who usually failed at 1 to 3 weeks. I always thought if I could get through two weeks I had it licked. Ya ...right. We can't expect a 10, 20, 30 year addcition to be cured in 14 days. It comes in little increments. Sometimes it comes so slowly we don't even see how far we have come. So..... we learn.... not only how to break our habit..but we also come out learning patience. You have such a way with words. I feel the same way...I am a non-smoker! It was a long, hard road, but we have made it. Thanks to my quit buddy, Congrats! Thank you Kiwi What an inspiration you truely are!!! I am on here reading posts all the time and yes there are posts that really depress me and I wonder if that is in store for me? But then I keep reading and I find a post like yours and it really lifts me up and I know that I am doing the right thing here by quitting, and YES I CAN MAKE IT and so can a lot of us on here. Kudos to you for coming back here and for sharing your great story! :) My Milage: My Quit Date: 3/1/2007 Smoke-Free Days: 84 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 2,100 Amount Saved: $420.00 Life Gained: Days: 8 Hrs: 22 Mins: 42 Seconds: 8

Kiwi- congrats on this and also for having the guts and determination to come back to the quit and to this site. I think sharing your experience is good for all of us as it shows how consequential a little slip can be. I for one, am glad for this site and the microcosm of the world that it is in general. The only battle to be won on this site should be about smoking and you're a fine example and inspiration to all of us! ;) My Milage: My Quit Date: 2/18/2006 Smoke-Free Days: 460 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 18,400 Amount Saved: $4,140.00 Life Gained: Days: 76 Hrs: 4 Mins: 45 Seconds: 26
