You go to one of those threads, read what has been going on and just join in by posting something. The Hokey Pokey party started by us trying to cheer someone up today who was having a down day. Thats usually how it gets started. Go, look, read and have fun! By the way, Craig, we are building a treehouse in the general users forum & having a hokey pokey party in common questions, if you're looking for something to do. Oh yeah and there's a Wednesday quitters parade in stats. You go, Craig. Yes, you can do this! Seems like you've learned from past mistakes and are really ready to commit now. As long as your desire to quit is stronger than your desire to smoke, you can accomplish anything here. Looking forward to following your progress! --Shakes My Milage: My Quit Date: 4/5/2007 Smoke-Free Days: 48 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 960 Amount Saved: $432.00 Life Gained: Days: 6 Hrs: 1 Mins: 48 Seconds: 12

Hi, I'm Craig and I've quit smoking today. I'm well prepared to maintain the quit this time. I've quite countless times in the past but became to complacent and went back to smoking. That's not going to happen this time. I know I'll always be an addict and can never take another puff. I've decided to go cold turkey because that's what's worked for me in the past. I had just as many cravings and they lasted just as long when I went the NRT route. I tried Zyban before and I will not subject myself or ESPECIALLY the people around me to that again. It made me psychopathic! I was easily and unreasonably angered and did not care about other people or their feelings at all. The only thing that kept me from hitting people was fear of the law - a very scary thing in retrospect. By doing this program with all of your support, and my own preparations, I'm confident I can stay quit this time.
