Thought you might appreciate a new spin on this topic. After fielding quite a few questions about stopping method, weight gain, (Moans, etc.), and "how much longer do you think you can hold out," I decided to turn the tables on those who vowed to never quit. I agree, most of them looked cynical or frightened, or both. So I said, "Well I'm glad you've made the choice that is right for you. I guess I am not as physcially strong as you are, because smoking was affecting my health and stamina." There was this long, confused silence, they looked at each other, and I sensed they were looking for permission to continue to do what they were doing. No one has said anything more to me since then, other than "Wow, you are doing great!" Surprising?!????!!! Effective!
