Hi all, As i journey along on this my final quit, i have used much SELF TALK,and as each day passes life becomes more beautiful. This final quit has been so different from my previous attempts, even the one that lasted 7 months...im HAPPY, and i have vowed to myself that i will NEVER SMOKE AGAIN, (not hoping i'ii never smoke again)thats to wishy washy, really vowed never again to be trapped and enslaved by this addiction. I now fully understand the power of my mind, i do not MOPE, i do not CRAVE, because my decision is so ABSOLUTE..so FINAL...when a smoking thought tries to take over my brain...i literally tell it BACK OFF BUDDY , NO ROOM FOR YOU IN HERE...i always remember a post i read here last year... YOU ARE WHAT YOU THINK.....so THINK POSITIVE....and thats what your quit will be....and WHEN YOUR HAPPY AND YOU KNOW IT, CLAP YOUR HANDS.. all the best jeanigirl My Milage: My Quit Date: 4/28/2007 Smoke-Free Days: 21 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 273 Amount Saved: $99.75 Life Gained: Days: 2 Hrs: 8 Mins: 7 Seconds: 49
