My SSC Friends,
Today is my 2 year quit anniversary. Wow!!! Even though my office doesn't have a strict dress code, t-shirts are usually reserved for "casual" days, but not today! I'm struttin' my quit big time today!
This post really isn't here for me to brag about my quit, it's here to give hope and inspiration to all of you new quitters out there who may be holding on by a thread. Quitting is so doable and so, so worth it!! Never give up! Never give in! Whatever is going on in your life, smoking won't fix a damn thing about it! Stay quit and revel in your success over a self-imposed hell.
My quit has been pretty well documented here and today I give thanks to all of you who helped me along the way. I would name names, but I'd leave someone out and I don't want to do that, but know that each of you, in your own way, has helped me. Even the mods.. :8o:
I know I haven't been on the site in quite a while, but a day doesn't go by that I don't have a thought or two about all the times I've enjoyed here and the wonderful "post" friends I've made.
A few others of my quit generation have hit the two year mark recently and I wish them all the best.
Take care everyone and keep kicking 'butt'!!!
