Good for you Jeanigirl!! It's so great to have you back here. You know that no one here judges because we're addicts. We're all in various stages of our quits and we support each other and will be happy to add you to our community.
Have you read the workbook over to the left yet. You may have but if not, it really helps so much and, it's not boring. LOL It really prepares you for your quit. I get made fun of by one particular person for saying this all of the time but I have to say it, Make sure you drink lots and lot of water. It really helps with the cravings and flushes the poisons from your system. Have your hard candy, gum, sun seeds, etc. for that "hand to mouth" thing. Practice deep breathing too and I have those exercises that I can post for you too if you'd like. Avoid those triggers that make you want to smoke while early in your quit. If you can't avoied a trigger, like your computer, then rearrange it and make it different. Above all, post a lot and read a lot. We're all here and we're taking it a minute, an hour, and a day at a time.
Keep us posted. You CAN do this.
Stay Strong,
Tutti
