hi sugarnose, Glad to see you back (is hubby coming back too?) About the Chantix...you have to eat "Before you take it" or it will nauseate you. You can do this. Cold Turkey will work but if it starts to get cold and scary somewhere along the way, you might want to rethink the Chantix. Just keep reading and posting and venting when you need to. we are here hugs auntdeb :) My Milage: My Quit Date: 1/1/2007 Smoke-Free Days: 81 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 4,079 Amount Saved: $384.75 Life Gained: Days: 11 Hrs: 5 Mins: 22 Seconds: 27

You can do it. I've had a couple of fights with my husband, almost caved, it's hard, glad you're back on the horse. Marie

Never beat yourself up, Sugarnose. I've been where you are a time or two...or three.... The important thing is you're back and trying again. We all learn from our slips. And you're right, the support here is great. Lots of help when you need it. Don't beat yourself up! The important thing is that you haven't given up on yourself. You can do this and I know emotional situations are hard but it does pass. When things get bad come here and write. The best part of this forum is that you don't have to do it alone and your not alone. I only have 5 days smoke free but if it wasn't for this forum I don't think I could've made it past day one. I'm using the patch because I coudn't afford Chantix and my insurance wouldn't cover it but be careful using this if it isn't prescribed by a doc. Keep writing and don't give up you made 58 days before and can make it all the way My Milage: My Quit Date: 3/16/2007 Smoke-Free Days: 5 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 204 Amount Saved: $55 Life Gained: Days: 0 Hrs: 13 Mins: 17 Seconds: 24

Yes, I went 58 days no smoking. With ease I might add. Then had a very emotional argument with my husband, who had also quit for same length of time. We buckled after 2 hours and here I am 3 weeks later, trying again. I feel like crap. I was doing so good. The weight gain was hard on me, but I was feeling so much better. Now my headaches are back. I quit exercising. A friend of mine gave me some Chantix pills, but I think they're making me nauseous. So i'm going to try and go cold turkey again. I could really use some words of support right now.....
