Hey, everybody. My quit program got accelerated a bit. I had not set a date yet & was still keeping the diary when I went to get smokes at the neighbourhood gas station. I had expected that the price would rise with the recent new budget, but I was absoloutely stunned when the kid at the counter asked me for $12.07. In that moment, I felt so stupid and disgusted with myself, I decided that that pack was going to be my last. I cannot justify that level of idiocy anymore, addiction be damned. I am not going to pay that price. So 5:50 pm last night was my last smoke. I feel kind of strange today, shaky, hard to concentrate, sleepy and I 've told the people I work with that they might see some bizarre behaviour from me over the next couple of weeks. Everyone will just have to deal with it. I AM DONE
