Hey Melissa!
You're doing great. I, too, am on Chantix, which has been great. It has helped me by causing my physical/chemical cravings to cease for the most part, so I can focus on beating my own anxiety. And all the other reasons I smoked. I'm getting stronger, I know that much! Mentally, psychologically, physically.
One thing I learned that I'll pass on. Do continue taking Chantix for the proposed 12 months, at least. I tried to quit back in February using Chantix, and couldn't afford the second month. So I stopped taking it. I got to day 24 and had one cigarette and it was all downhill from there. So this time, even if I have to put it on a credit card, I'm staying on Chantix until I'm sure I'm strong enough! And this is the quit of all quits; I just know it.
That other quit, the failed one, by the way, was before I found this amazing support system. You've come to a fantastic group of people to cheer you on and give you all sorts of tools you din't even know you needed.
I wish you the best!!
