Yes, have said that statement just yesterday , about myself having spent $10.55 a pack when I was smoking, how stupid is that? But I also realize that each individual has to find out at their own pace.
Kind of like the rebellious child who needs to learn their lessons on their own. I guess they'll wake up in the own time.

Phil
Its not your fault, all we can do is give them the information and hope they use it wisely. How long did it take us to realize what we were doing was wrong? Some people never get it, even when they do get sick. My one friend told me the other day, he is going to die from his diabetes anyway, so whats it matter if he smokes!
You know you are a wonderful person, a great inspiration, and you make us laugh. Be proud of yourself for trying to help him.
Keep the chin up we love u

Phil,
Very hard to understand from our point of view.
Just don't give up on yourself, we count on you for inspiration (and ongoing comic relief)

Phil, Nicotine addiction is no joke.
How frustrating it is being on the 'other side', especially when the smoker is a sick family member & doesn't want to know.
Damn those tobacco companies!
