Butterfly Swimmer, You misunderstood what I was saying. I'm very aware that it is "my choice" to smoke or not. Look at my meter and you'll see what exactly what my choice has been and still is. Phil & Tutti, There's no reason to be envious here. If you want to smoke, you can! We all make the choice NOT to because we want a better, healthier life. So there's no reason to be envious because each one of us has a choice. If you choose to be a non-smoker, then you are choosing life over death. There's nothing to be envious about here. Nobody's stopping you from smoking. It's a choice. Crave the Quit! Monica, Yes!! I say "envious" because I'm seriously craving right now. Over the last few days those cravings have come back pretty hard and they really are exhausting at times. Plum aggravating, huh? So, that one cigarette seems like it would be so great....just to have a break from that constant struggle. But like I said, I know me and I wouldn't stop at just one. That would be like eating ONE M&M. ha ha ha That's just enough to upset me. LOL Believe me, I know how that feels too being diabetic. Just one only makes me want more. Hey, you're continuing on with your quit and that's what matters. You didn't throw the towel in on your quit and I'm so proud of you for being able to do that. You're a very strong person and I love reading all of your posts. Stay Strong With and For Me. ;) Hugs, Tutti My Milage: My Quit Date: 2/18/2007 Smoke-Free Days: 40 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 1,817 Amount Saved: $143.6 Life Gained: Days: 4 Hrs: 6 Mins: 38 Seconds: 45

TryAgain, I came in late on this discussion since I've been so busy taking care of my Mom. I keep trying to get in here to read and post but I'm limited on my time right now. Phil is right. I wonder how many of us really do envy taking that break. ha ha ha I know when I read your post, it sounded so, so good. I could see myself taking that break and OH!! what a break it was. ha ha ha But, I know me.....One break would feel so good that I'd have to do it again, and again, and again. I'm serious. I know if I smoke even one cigarette, it'll completely blow my quit. It's great that you're strong enough to keep going with your quit. Leave your quit meter just like it was and post today. Okay? Stay Strong, Tutti My Milage: My Quit Date: 2/18/2007 Smoke-Free Days: 40 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 1,813 Amount Saved: $143.6 Life Gained: Days: 4 Hrs: 6 Mins: 29 Seconds: 25
