What's So Good About Quitting?

All the things listed plus the fact that the dog doesn't sit around staring balefully at me and WHEEZING through his nose trying to catch his breath. I forgot how much control this addiction had over me. I forgot how much I avoided activities because of my addiction. This weekend I went away to a jam-packed conference with friends. I didn't have to worry about when I would get to smoke my next cigarette...I didn't have to take the elevator downstairs 30 million times to smoke just because I was having a glass of wine. I had the freedom to enjoy the whole weekend without the stress of feeding my addiction. I hope that I never forget that again. The best for me is when the big sneeze comes first thing in the morning, I can fully inhale without the tickle scaring the sneeze off! Been catching myself cutting off the breath just because I'm used to it, not because I need to anymore. And man I do love a good sneeze :) x T My Milage: My Quit Date: 1/1/2007 Smoke-Free Days: 105 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 2,432 Amount Saved: 577.5 Life Gained: Days: 8 Hrs: 21 Mins: 30 Seconds: 11

Of course all of those above, but the main thing is that I know I won't probably die of a smoking related disease. No lung cancer. So my answer in a nutshell: LIVING.
