You’re not alone. 411,000+ real posts from people who showed up for each other. Read a thread, share a win, leave a tip - your words could be the nudge someone needs today.
Hang in there Bobbi. It does get better. Lots of deep breaths helps me. Or sucking on a straw also helps, chew gum, or sometimes just read more posts...you will find everyone goes thru ups and downs of some sort or another, some worse, some better.
But try to keep your quit.
Smoking will NOT make anything any better, it just makes it worse and then you have to start over, so keep on trying!

Breecie,
If you find mornings difficult, try making small changes to your morning routine. Ex: Instead of coffee and a cigarette like always, which is now coffee & a craving, try coffee & a newspaper?
Freedom,
Congratulations on 1 month smoke free! Do you have a reward planned?
Danielle

PROUD to say I'm a non-smoker of one month today! (patting myself on the back) ;p One day at a time is how I think now. After 34 years of smoking, if I can do it, anyone can do it.

Hi Bobbi-
Thanks for the welcome. I actually quit on 3/27, but had one at 10:30 pm, so I had to start all over again...my third time trying to quit now. I'm going cold turkey - it's really tough, but I hate the patches and the gums.
I have already gained 7 pounds...I will not even admit to the things I've been snacking on and the quantities! I have started walking round and round my neighborhood to try and get my metabolism going in a healthy way. I hear you about the mornings - that's the worst time for me too.
I will say a prayer for you and I really hope you beat the addiction!
