Hi Kayla. I'm a little late in answering your post but you sure have your hands full and I am amazed and so proud of your strength. There are groups that help mothers collect child support. I don't know if I'm allowed to give you the name of one here. My daughter used it and they were great. You've so much on your plate but you must be a strong person and it's okay to scream!! If you believe in god there's a scripture that always helped me..."I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me." Hang Strong, Jan

Hi I just wanted to let you all know that I made it through another day. After my walk I called up one of the girls I work with and we went out for a few too many drinks. She doesn't smoke and you can't smoke in bars in NY so it kind of helped. I prefer to deal with this headache then to have my chest hurting from coughing so much. I'm missing my daughter and dealing with the boyfriend. I just need to learn to deal with things a little easier. Only I can jepordize my quit and I can't look for excuses. Anyway I'm ok, still bummed out but ok and not smoking!!! don't blow the fuse....just think.....this quit is "yours"...it's also just FOR you......if you let these people/situations cause you to loose it????.....well only YOU stand to loose....it won't make one BIT of difference to them!.....so don't do this to yourSELF. every thing that you mentioned does indeed suck...and part of it big time....it's ok to be mad as hell....but don't take something important from yourSELF as the result. takin the walk is a good idea....and then just remember....YOU are important....take CARE of you. don't let selfish/rude/users take away the prize that you have hold of. ((((hug))) kick butt....(maybe some besides the nicodemon's) LOL Katy My Milage: My Quit Date: 1/4/2002 Smoke-Free Days: 1913 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 76,533 Amount Saved: $10904.1 Life Gained: Days: 252 Hrs: 8 Mins: 2 Seconds: 19

Hi Kayla I hope today is a better day for you.I get so frustrated because I,m not smart enough to give you the kind of advise you need to cope with this B.S. you,re going thru right now.But on the home page there,s an post by Danielle on Anger & Quitting Smoking you gotta read..Man when I read your post yesterday I swear I saw lightning bolts flash across my monitor.Do you think sucking on an ice cube would cool that Cuban blood ???? ;p My Milage: My Quit Date: 3/21/2007 Smoke-Free Days: 11 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 203 Amount Saved: $110 Life Gained: Days: 2 Hrs: 15 Mins: 56 Seconds: 5

Kayla, Congratulations on hanging in there during this tough time. None of your problems will change if you smoke, however, you will add to your stress if you slip now. Kudos for taking a walk to get away from the situation. Remember, smoking does not alter our circumstances. Hope to here from you soon!
