Dear Freedom, What happened?? I have been very very busy this week so I am not up on all the latest. If you posted earlier I am sorry I did not reply. I hope everything is okay with you and that it was a slip and not a dive. First of all, I feel like once Freedom Fighter, always a Freedom Fighter. We are here to stick together and pull eachother through this fight. If it were fun and games we would have a different name, nor would we need this supportive website. Marie, Don't make this reset harder on yourself than it has to be!!! Don't ditch your group just because you reset! Just so you know, I originally quit on June 17, 2005, but reset my meter on October 28,2005 after a "slip" and just recently put it back on June 17th after 500 days of having it be reset... I figure I'm in the clear now, and I'm not going to smoke no matter WHAT my meter says. But anyway, for those 500 days, I felt like I wasn't a part of my "group" anymore. No, they NEVER made me feel that way... but "I" felt that way. But they all told me, once a Smober, always a smober... and just as Todash told you, once an 007 Freedom Fighter, always a Freedom Fighter. So whenever we had a Smober check-in, and I had my reset meter, I would just always post that I was taking up the rear... and that was OK for all of us. Resetting your meter is hard enough, and I completely respect your decision to do so. Honestly, I believe that you will probably be better off for it and, in my opinion, have a smaller chance of relapsing again (this isn't proven or anything... this is just from my observations and experiences). So I commend your decision... but please, stick with your friends! They need you and you need them! Crave the Quit! Marie, As the duly-appointed Secretary of the 007FF's, I recorded exactly ZERO votes to remove you from the group. Therefore... it's unanimous!! Regardless of your quit meter numbers (which I totally respect, by the way), you are hereby a permanent 007 Freedom Fighter. **Crowd roars** **Hip-hip-hooray!** **Crowd roars some more** :p :p Welcome home, honey. Got it to work and I understand if this is not a good idea as some may feel it's *ok* to slip and then stick with the group you've let down so I totally am open to honest replies. TIA. Can I still hang with you guys though I slipped Saturday - I've reset my meter. I know that some don't reset their meter, some do, I had to because I want it to be absolutely slip free. Please keep me on :( This is my first *real* attempt at quitting - I've half-heartedly attempted (used the patched and smoked on it, etc.), before slipping this weekend I've been the most honest I've been and I'll feel funny leaving 007. TIA. Marie
