Whooo, Whooo! Congrats Pat on those 12 glorious smoke free weeks! You make us proud! I'd like to dedicate a song in your honor, for moving along the path to a new life, in so many ways: I am unwritten, can't read my mind, I'm undefined. I'm just beginning, the pen's in my hand, ending unplanned. Staring at the blank page before you, open up the dirty window Let the sun illuminate the words that you cannot find Reaching for something in the distance, so close you can almost taste it. Release your inhibitions, feel the rain on your skin. No one else can feel it for you, only you can let it in No one else, no one else, can speak the words on your lips Drench yourself in words unspoken live your life with arms wide open Today is the day your book begins, the rest is still unwritten. - Natasha Bedingfield, "Unwritten" {{Hugs}} Freemom My Milage: My Quit Date: 3/29/2007 Smoke-Free Days: 25 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 308 Amount Saved: $102 Life Gained: Days: 2 Hrs: 9 Mins: 2 Seconds: 48

Stormy: The boas referenced here regularly by some of us refer to the feather variety, as in the long, gaudily (if that's a word) colored boa that one can flip over one's shoulder in a fashion that makes one feel like an elegant lady (or maybe a stripper). Anyway, on board the magic ship, Pat would give us these boas as gifts, designed to make us feel elegant (or like a stripper). The red feather boa is by far the most popular among us. That's probably a lot more than you wanted to know -- but the important thing to know is this: "PAT started it!!!" Oh boy, how did I miss this one??!! Shame on Faith, shame on Faith!! My pal Pat, First Mate of the Magic Ship and the best-ever cigarette evictor: I'm so proud!! (For newbies, hunt down her early post in which she wrote an incredible letter literally evicting cigarettes from her life -- worth reading -- and emulating!) So, you are SO close to joining us on the hint, hint, wink, wink, BEACH! We're all waiting with open arms and of course copious amounts of wine and chocolate for you, so hurry up, already! Julie just arrived today and she has the biggest grin on her face -- you should see it. Way to go, girl! Keep the faith My Milage: My Quit Date: 10/8/2006 Smoke-Free Days: 199 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 7,982 Amount Saved: $1592 Life Gained: Days: 26 Hrs: 2 Mins: 18 Seconds: 38
