Welcome, tamugrad02! Sounds to me like you'd like your life back.
You can have it. It'll take a little time... and you'll have to deal with some challenges along the way... but we're doing it... and so can you.
Glad to have you along for the ride!

Congratulations!!
Mu suggestion is: use the resources here- the workbook and the support group. Don't be shy about leaning on the folks here for help, support and encouragement. They're great! A lot of non-smoker wisdom flying around here...

Weclome.
Good for you.
While you are still postitive and high on quiting...take the time to put into action what you will do to keep the postitive attitude when craves take place.
For most people you need to find a good and hopefully healthy substitute. Some take up different flavor teas when they crave smoking..others take walks...or exercise...or read devotionals.
What ever works.. and whatever it takes.
Keep us posted and feel free to vent often.
Mercy

That's it, I'm done, I don't want to live like this anymore!!
I've been living my life allowing a bit of cotton with some paper
wrapped around it dictating what I'm going to do and where I'm going
to do it. So last night I had my last cigarette....It's 4:45pm right now and I haven't smoked since 12am last night....
What an introduction, I love it!
Just stay that way please. Keep reminding yourself how you've been taken for a ride with nicotine and how it has swindled you out of most of your life and never smoke again.
