Welcome smitty ! I see by your quit meter that you became a non smoker in April.. I would like to invite you to join the APRIL ASHKICKER'S If you go to the "New User's and General topics" category check out the thread "APRIL QUITTER'S" and introduce yourself there. The whole site is absolutely amazing filled with so much info.. Program tools to the left of this page, the member's are extraordinarily supportive, caring and filled with much wisdom ! I would not have come this far without them and without having a very positive attitude towards my new non smoking life ! We're here for you.. Read lots, post lots and congrats on your 6 days ! Smitty, Welcome back and congrats on 6 days. Almost one whole week! That's great! With regards to the quit meter, it's your motivational tool and we encourage you to choose the option that will best motivate you to keep your quit. Keep up with those coping mechanisms and don't forget to reward yourself often for staying smoke free! Danielle _____________________ The SSC Support Team

oh kay guys its been 6 days ( well technically 18 with two minor and One major slip) but the water with the little spout thingy, and gum, and all your messages have keep me stong. Thanks I decided on the patch cause I don't want my kids to be affected by my moods, well my constant yelling. I wasn't sure which quit date to use becouse even though the first 12 days had a few slips I didn't actually start smoking again, I gave into two cravings and had the whole smoke and the other one I had a drag before I realized I even lit the thing up. This is much better, still hard, but I'm not reacting the ways I used to My Milage: My Quit Date: 4/29/2007 Smoke-Free Days: 6 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 145 Amount Saved: $51 Life Gained: Days: 0 Hrs: 12 Mins: 44 Seconds: 52
