I am on the patch, have alittle over a mo of being a nonsmoker(non smoker doesn't that just send chills down your spine to say that) you will be able to soon also. I smoked 50 years and never wanted to quit but one day I said yes I do want to quit , researched for about three mo. and now here I am a nonsmoker for alittle over a mo. WOW I feel good! welcome, anything I can do to help let me know. Want to tell you the people on this board are the BEST EVER! Hi everyone, I've been looking at this site for about a week now and have made up my mind to quit these cigs. I have not set a date yet but I have bought "Commit" so will be ready soon. I have smoked off and on for about 35 years and it would feel so good to be nicotine free. I really want to do this for me and also the rest of my family. I know I can do this. I am looking forward to staying in touch with all of you who are going through the same thing as I am. I know I am not alone with your help. Hope I will be able to help some of you also. Dee
