Amry, Please also feel free to use our search engine. There are a few threads on the SSC about Chantix that may be helpful to you. Danielle ____________________ The SSC Support Team

Thank you both and it's nice to know others on the Chantix. wnt2bfree good luck and don't fee pressured to change your date... it'll be here soon enough. And YES janpo1 chantix is definitely a godsend for me!!!! Since I posted this I've read other posts from people on Chantix and I'm happy to know others who were fatigued and disconnected during the first week. I thought it was me and didn't attribute it to withdrawls. Good luck to both of you!!

I'm on chantix and it's been a godsend to me. I smoked for 30 yrs and with the help of chantix i have been smoke free for 11 days now! I quit on my 6th day of taking chantix. Cig's just tasted horrible and i hated the way i felt. I actually felt worse while smoking and on the chantix than when i stopped smoking. I know chantix is not a miracle drug but it sure helps tremendously. The physical cravings are not there. We do still have the mental ones though to deal with. I'm on Chantix but haven't reached my quit date yet. May 8th is the big day, but I might bump it up because the desire to smoke is lessening every day and I'm noticing that the smell of cigarettes is starting to gag me :) Good luck and congrats on your 2 days smoke free!

Hi All, My quit date was 5/1 and so far so good. I've tried to quit probably 5x's in the past and stayed off cigarettes for 9-months 7-years ago but went back to smoking after that and smoked more than ever. I've been taking the Chantix since 4-23 and I'm amazed that it has taken away the desire to smoke. Is anyone else on it?
