I've tried to quit at least 3 times.I quit for 5 years the first time by doing it cold turkey. This will be my last attempt.

I would say that in the past 25 years I've made about 5 or 6 "REAL" attempts to quit smoking. These are the quits that lasted longer than a day or two. I can't begin to count the number of "day or two" quits. This has been one of the longest quits I've had, and I fully plan on keeping quit!!!!! This is my 2nd real attempt. The first time was 9 days and this time I just wanted to make it to 10 - I think I made it ;) We are all different though. One try or a thousand as long as you don't smoke... So many of us have quit SO many times! And I think after a while, we start to think that quitting just isn't possible because we've tried so many times and have tried every different method out there and STILL just can't seem to get it right... until that last time when, for some unknown reason, it works! And we're finally quit for good! So how many times did it take you? For me, I've quit more times than years I've been alive (i'm 30). For a while, I was quitting every month or so. I would last anywhere from a few days to a few weeks to even a few months... but always went back to smoking. Never made it over a year... until now! So how many times did you quit before you got it right? Crave the Quit!
