Hi everyone! Glad to see Nurse29 made a post. She stopped by last evening...guess she was checking everything on the net since she doesnt have hers yet, but soon! Both of them are still smoke free! I am getting ready for the camping/fishing trip this weekend. Lots of packing to do. I dont think I will be taking the bikini on this trip...highs predicted to be in the 60s for the weekend with lows in the 30s. Think Ill take long johns instead. Now theres a visual for you! Faith, can I borrow one your boas to make me look purrrty? I am looking forward to the first non-smoking fishing trip. Camera will be ready to take pics of anything (or anyone!) I find interesting....and of course, pictures of Bubba when I catch him. (oh please, please let me catch Bubba) If yall get to Cabo before I get back to the ship, have a margarita (or several) for me! Heres a little music to sign me off...getting my last minute work done before I head home. Ill be around on Sunday to fly anyone to Martinsville who wants to go! Be ready at noon! Margaritaville Nibblin' on sponge cake Watchin' the sun bake All of those tourists covered with oil Strummin' my six-string On my front porch swing Smell those shrimp they're beginnin' to boil Wastin' away again in Margaritaville Searching for my lost shaker of salt Some people claim that there's a woman to blame But I know it's nobody's fault I don't know the reason I stayed here all season Nothin' to show but this brand new tattoo But it's a real beauty A Mexican cutie How it got here I haven't a clue Wastin' away again in Margaritaville Searchin' for my lost shaker of salt Some people claim that there's a woman to blame Now I think Hell, it could be my fault I blew out my flip-flop Stepped on a pop-top Cut my heel had to cruise on back home But there's booze in the blender And soon it will render That frozen concoction that helps me hang on Wastin' away again in Margaritaville Searching for my lost shaker of salt Some people claim that there's a woman to blame But I know it's my own damn fault Yes and some people claim that there's a woman to blame And I know it's my own damn fault ~Jimmy Buffet My Milage: [B

Thanks for the toast...wow 60 days, 2 months, sometimes feels like 2 years already...It has been a smoother than expected ride, and I am diggin it :P - You know, I had to deal with a lot of "outside forces" during this quit, stresses brought on by work, and a spouse who is still smoking, not bi**hing, just stating a fact, it's her choice to quit, and she says she will, other factors like alcohol, and activities where I would normally be smoking...working in the yard, golfing, driving...but those stresses were not any worse because I had QUIT, most of those same conflicts and stresses would have been there anyway, so it is I think a little sign of weakness to say that one is having a hard time dealing with the stresses in life because they have stopped smoking...smoking again won't help...I told Rainie once that I saw some pictures of actual lungs of smokers and non-smokers, I was convinced that I WILL NOT go back..last week on vacation when I was able to actually play 2 18 hole rounds back to back 3 days in a row, and walk the fairway too boot during some of those rounds, I was convinced that if I was still smoking, I would not have made it. If this sounds like a little "tough love" coming from The Captain, well, it is. If I have offended anyone, I am sorry, but we can't continue to lean on the "smoking crutch". All in all, stay strong, help those that need help, support those that are struggling a bit, but most importantly, have some friggin fun!! We need to get this boat rockin again, how we do that isn't important, but it needs to Rock!! In the words of Jimmy Buffett: Yes, I Think I Have Found Me A Home The days drift by They don't have names And none of the streets here look the same And there are so many quiet places And smilin' eyes match the smilin' faces. And I have found me a home Yes, I have found me a home And you can have the rest of everything I own 'Cause I have found me a home. My old red bike Gets me around To the bars and the beaches of my town And there aren't many reasons I would leave Yes, I have found me some peace. And the ladies aren't demanding there They never ask too much And when you're coming off a cold love That's sure a nice warm touch. The days drift by They don't have names And none of the str

~~~~~Hugs to all my Magic Friends~~~~~ Hello my friendshow sad I am to read of the docking of the Magic Ship, but in all honesty I know I am ready to walk back onto terra firma and into my real life Land of Quit. I will still be around SSC as much as possible even though my new job and non smoking life just keep getting busier and busier. Before I throw on my string bikini and head ashore one last time I would like to have an opportunity to thank you all personally. Keep in touch please everyone, your friendship means a lot to me and I will always remember my Magic shipmates with joy and love. Captain MrMagicMoviestarManyou have my complete and utter admiration for sailing such a smooth and steady course for yourself and all your crew (plus you takes your teasing with a smile). Your unshakable positive determination has inspired me many times in many facets of my quit and in my life. I believe I speak for every one of us in thanking you from the bottom of our hearts, which are deep inside our smoke free bodies for all youve done to set our course and make our journeys such happy ones. Rainiethe bestest most wonderfully positive serving wench ever (see old post for full list of compliments) tying up your string bikini while swatting someoneshrumphhhh, menfingers sos they cant undo the knots to take picturesgirl, Im so glad you had great news from your cardiologist! Ive seen you master your quit with the grace and style that very few possess in this life. I cant believe my good fortune in having quit with you as one of my buddies. Thanks for sharing The Secretits amazing how we found all these positive people through itI look forward to seeing where we go from here. Faithyouve poured gallons of wine, served cases of chocolate and been my shining example of how to encourage others (youll always be number 1 in my book and did you know that to give is to receive). Im so glad your eye is going to be ok, somehow I knew it would be. Darling, your new Texas boa is delightful and all the neon lights on your new bikini are going to help me find you on that crowed beach hint hint, wink wink, yes the REAL BEACHin just over a month. See you and all my friends there. JTyoure the best exercise director ever. Im so imp
Thank you, Casey! That helped tremendously and I just had my first IM conversation with Freemom. Will I need to go through that whole drill with security each time? Thanks again for your help. So, Freemom, what should happen when I hit "Launch"? My security came up that it had blocked it, so I went to "Safety" and clicked on "Allow Pop-ups". But when I hit "Launch" now, nothing happens. Any ideas?
