One year went by without smoking. I have never thought that I could do that.
Well, I did it and to me it was not as hard as for other quitters. I think that is because I am a very optimistic person and a stubborn girl aswell.
And look at me now. What did I accomplish in my year? I wrote a book about quitting smoking and when the book was finished I started a small company where I help people who want to quit smoking. So far I have 6 clients and they feel good.
I have my own website and I'm happier than I ever was when I smoked.
I'm glad that I did it and I don't miss anything. Not the smell, not the stains on my hands, and I have money to spend the way I want and not on cigarets.
Tonight my daughter, her husband and my favorite niece (she is on my bookcover) going to celebrate my smoke free year in a nice restaurant and have diner there.
I wish every quitter on this site the best of luck and I hope you all get as happy as I am today.
Thanks for the support and the nice words.
Dutch.
