You do not have to feel stupid or guilty or apologize! You are dealing with a horrible addiction. It's not easy. People relapse. If it was easy, no one would be addicted! And, I'm sure that most of us here at the SSC can understand and relate to what you're going through.
So here's my advice - take it or leave it:
(1) Try to figure out your specific trigger...what led to that first drag?
(2) Come up with a plan for how to deal with this trigger.
(3) Consider this Day#1 - you are once again a nonsmoker
(4) Read posts, write posts, read posts, write posts, etc.
(5) Say outloud - "I don't smoke anymore - it's not an option".
(6) Make Tutti happy and start drinking gallons of water every day
(7) Re-set your quit meter
(8) Let us know how we can help!
