Hi jersy,
I'm only into day 14, but I had that horrible rollercoaster craving going just a little while back and I found it terribly disturbing...
What I did was go for a very very long walk and self talk at the same time. I found that inhaling the fresh air and walking briskly 'burnt' off the cravings. If you can get up and walk around or go outside on your break/lunch if you're at work. If it still persists when you get home grab some fruit and a water bottle and go for a walk before dinner.
It's a horrible feeling especially when it seems that it will never end. It does so hang on tight hon.
Also, I'm using the patch as well and if you don't feel real comfortable by Sunday to step down why not just go one more week on the patch you are using now? *just a suggestion*
