Changing, Thanks for caring. I really beat myself up yesterday :) It just wasn't the news I was hoping to hear. But I am happy that the bone is doing well. And I will make use of that extra 5 minutes of walking. I guess I'm just on a feel sorry kick for myself :p I am going to get the med today and I'm sure that is going to help. Thanks for being here for me... Hello. Yep I am feeling the same way too. Nobody wants to be around me(like thats a bad thing?) LOL Chest x-ray came back good. What a relief!!! Now I'm waiting on results from an ECHO. They are trying to find out why I am retaining so much water. The stress of the tests, the grandkids and the quit are driving me crazy. I haven't started the Chandix yet because the grandkids need so much right now. Since the spinal fusion I haven't be able to work so our income has changed. I never realized how expensive the Chandix is. But otherwise I'm thankful that all the tests have came back good. So once the other tests come in maybe he will finally give me a water pill. Hard to believe I'm looking forward to that huh? :p Hope everyone is doing good. Even though I can't get on here as often as I would like to, I'm thinking about all of you... Nope no news yet. I figure no news is good news right? I'm thinking positive thoughts. I'm sure it will be ok. I just hate them chest x-rays. I thought I set myself up to fail this time with everything happening but so far so good. It just seems like everything hit at once. But it still would have even if I were smoking. Somedays its really hard but I think we all feel that. Thanks for caring. It means alot to me. I love your support and your concern. Stay strong with me :) My Milage: My Quit Date: 2/19/2007 Smoke-Free Days: 21 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 969 Amount Saved: $252 Life Gained: Days: 2 Hrs: 12 Mins: 7 Seconds: 22

Great ideal! I bought my grandson a PSP for Christmas. Maybe he'll let me borrow it for awhile. I have also decided to maybe quilt some pillows. Just have to wait for the rain to let up so I can go shopping. I have to be real careful I don't slip or fall :) Thanks for the help. It's a fighting day today I'm sure. But I will be strong!!!! Thanks for the ideals. With this back surgery recovery not smoking has been really tough. I don't have alot to do to keep my hands busy. The last few days have been nice outside so I was able to take short walks. As you remember my husband smokes and he makes it very hard for me. Today it is raining so there will be no short walks outside. I know today is going to be really hard. I know I have to stay strong. The new tissue and the new bone are counting on me. I can't sit at the computer very long because of my back. I may need lots of help today. Any good advice of things I can do without standing or sitting very long? I will listen to any and all advice!!! Hi Rose. Thanks for the laugh. What a nice guy to do that for her!! Her nerves must have been really shot that day. Mine are shot today. Tonight is really hard for some reason. Maybe because I had a discussion with the hospital I just got out of. Or maybe its the weather. Or maybe its just me. :) I'm taking it one second at a time tonight. Good luck to you and everyone. Haha. I've been thinking alot about when I first started too. The girl who smoked with me was my best friend. We thought we were so cool. I lost her 5 years ago to an abusive husband. So I don't have her to holler at anymore. :( She lived in her own private hell. She always said smoking is what kept her sane. I think most of us have said that one time or another. I'm feeling alittle better today. My grandaughter came to visit me and she always makes me smile. She is 4 and she can't wait for my back to heal so I can chase her again. She told me I don't stink anymore. I thought that was funny. I never thought about how I must have smelled to her. Her mother doesn't smoke. So there was another reason to quit. I hope this gets easier soon. It is a big pain in the butt. I bet you really needed one after fighting with them on the phone. I hate calling them for anything. I'm trying to avoid the phone as much as possible. I'm cutting out some more pillows today but I'm going to rest instead of sewing. I over did it yesterday and I'm paying the price today. One hell week down! How many more to go? LOL Good luck and stay strong girl!! Good morning Tutti. I just woke up and I want to smoke so bad!!! I worked on the pillows yesterday and then I was on the computer last night reading some posts. This morning my body hurts so bad that I can hardly move. Sometimes I am so tired of the pain and of the cravings that I just want to cave again. But I don't want to go through hell week again. But then again its looking like another hell week :8o: I just wish I could exercise or something to keep this body moving. I am gaining so much weight but I have been off my feet since the end of November. I'm going to need lots of help this week I'm sure. Thank you for keeping in touch with me. It sure helps knowing someone else is going through this with me. Lets stay strong together. Have a smoke free day Terri My Milage: My Quit Date: 2/19/2007 Smoke-Free Days: 8 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 379 Amount Saved: $96 Life Gained: Days: 0 Hrs: 23 Mins: 30 Seconds: 55

Thanks for the advice. I just had major back surgery so I can only take short walks. But I am taking them. I'm kinda getting sick of water. ;p But I am drinking it. Good luck to you too. I'm glad to meet you. You must live somewhere cold also. I live in Illinois. Its cold here. Thanks for the kind words. I'm trying hard to stay strong. If I repeat myself its cause of all the drugs I'm on.
