Yeah, I agree. Like, there was a bit of a letup for a while, now it's bearing down again. I think a lot of it is the change in seasons, at least for me. I'm starting to encounter new triggers again. Certainly easier to deal with most of them, but really annoying. Another thing that's funny is the time dilation. It seems like years ago that I was a smoker. It was only 2 months. Two months! That's hardly any time at all, but if I didn't have the numbers in front of me, I'd swear it was 6 months ago. Angel - Funny thing I started to get a major crave today. But I just told myself, no this isn't going to happen, stop it, go away! And then I stopped thinking about it and it did go away. I think from my experiences I can say that the more we dwell on a craving, the worse it gets! Hang in there and be strong. Kick that cravings ash! Angelcapp, In the days to come do be sure to take your small breaks in between tasks and reward yourself in other ways. Tutti, Do take the time to change your coping strategies if they're losing their touch. Let us know what you come up with, others may be in need of new ideas also. Thanks Tutti, I will hang in there. I need to change my coping mechanisms too. The hard candy just doesn't seem to be doing it anymore. Plus the weight problem is getting me a bit down. Soon as I get back from my trip on Sunday, its walking time! You hang in there too and together we will beat this thing. :) My Milage: My Quit Date: 3/1/2007 Smoke-Free Days: 56 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 1,417 Amount Saved: $280 Life Gained: Days: 6 Hrs: 0 Mins: 0 Seconds: 13

Ew Angel, Do I ever know how you feel. I was hit with some serious cravings and was in a miserable, cranky mood to boot just a few days ago. This 60 Day slump was the worst one for me. I'm out of it now but, it's like I'm scared to do anything outside that may trigger a crave. :8o: I'm serious, I'm like hiding out. I have got to figure out how to handle those Spring Trime Triggers. I had the opportunity to go on a short road trip yesterday but, I declined. I just knew I'd be soooo bored without my nicotine crutch. How pitiful is that? I have to figure this out and get my rear in gear. I think too that I'm really tired of sunflower seeds, gum, and all of that. I need some new and different things. Sort of like I need to prepare again for my quit. Does that make sense? Hang in there, okay? There are a lot of us that know exactly how you're feeling. This 60 Day mark, along with Spring being here, is pretty rough. The good thing is, we know it always goes away. I read in another post about the 60 day mark and that the changing of the seasons creates craves. Well I quess they are right, because I am coming up on my 60 day mark and this has been one hell of a week. Craving like crazy and I have also noticed that I am much busier at home right now. Lots of things to do and accomplish. No more rewards for getting those things accomplished! Won't smoke thought, thats not an option. I know I will get past this, in fact I am already doing a bit better that earlier in the week, so I know I can get past this. First real big road trip coming up this weekend though. Haven't tried driving that long without the smokes yet. My daughter is going with me, so hopefully she will keep my busy and not thinking about. Everyone have a great weekend! NOPE :) My Milage: My Quit Date: 3/1/2007 Smoke-Free Days: 56 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 1,416 Amount Saved: $280 Life Gained: Days: 5 Hrs: 23 Mins: 57 Seconds: 46
