March Mellows Check In

17 years ago 0 710 logo logo logo logo logo logo logo logo logo logo 0
Hey March Mellow Buddies, I am still here and still smoke free!!!! It is amazing how when I look at the trees, flowers, grass etc. they all look so much more beautiful, life itself does! I told my husband this eve. that I have been living in a big, dirty ugly smoke fog for so many years and its like I just woke up to a new world, and I thank God every day that I did! Just having this special group of March quitters makes me even more determined, and so much more happy feel so much more connected to all the support, I am so glad we have this group and the support! Lainey.... Want to thank you for all you are doing to keep us all together, posting the names is wonderful, to see mine there was so exciting. Thanks you again. Hey Boxerfan you also quit only one day after me, and boy aren't we moving on, YES! Congrates to all of you and I am also so proud of everyone here, and me to, lol I am leaving to go to my parent's tomorrow 3 hrs. away to help take care of them again some of you may know I do this often, this time I also have my sister to take care of she is at my parent's home, she had by-pass, is 5 years younger then me. She also WAS a smoker, she quit when I did so I am so proud of her also. Won't hear from me until I get back may be at least a couple weeks, I sure will miss you all. Keep me in your prayers. send telepathic thoughts to me often and I will do the same to all of you! Hang tough all. You know...it's actually very cool... Here we are, a varied selection of people from all over the world, Canada, the U.S., Great Britain, Australia... and other countries... and in the month of March, 2007 we all decided, independant of one-another, that we'd had enough, that we wanted to reclaim our lives from the ravages of cigarette addiction. And we all found our way to this place in cyber-space, looking for strength, information, courage and perhaps most importantly... a reason to believe. And most of us come back here...every day. We watch one another struggle... and overcome. We encourage one-another, we believe in one-another... and when someone falls away, we grieve. We hope they'll be back, we hope that we won't be next... we hope that we can find whatever it takes to finally be free. I'm glad we're all here today. Gen A bump is when someone brings back an old post that they feel is relavent to what is going on now. I am not sure how they do it though.
