Anytime I get the urge, get on this web & read what some of the others are going thru, life doesn't seem so bad after that. Stick with it, you owe it to yourself.

Wow... I wish that everyone realized how vulnerable most of us are when we drink alcohol!! Protecting our quits - at all costs, as the number one rule for a successful quit. Good for you... spend as much time on the site as possible, reading, reading, reading... and as far as evenings go, find some distractions to take you away! Distractions saved my quit so many times. That's what I thought. I think for alot of us, our own well-being is not always enough of a motivation. So, can you use your child as motivation again? Do you want your child exposed to second-hand smoke? Do you want your child to know you as a smoker? Do you want to be around to see your child graduate school, get married, start a family, etc? Tks for your reply! yes, i am trying to keep in touch with the site everyday, it really helps. i am reading other people experiences and sharing some of the views abote the "monster tobacco". right now i am stuffing myself with carrot and celery because since i stopped i want to snack at all times. i feel strong and that i can make it but sometimes i feel a bit sad like i am depriving myself of a need, that's crazy thinking and i hope that with time this feeling will ease. tks again for the support! :) My Milage: My Quit Date: 4/1/2007 Smoke-Free Days: 4 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 68 Amount Saved: $16 Life Gained: Days: 0 Hrs: 9 Mins: 32 Seconds: 1
