Good Morning Changing Nothing on the agenda so far I generally wing it and go where the spirit moves me.I keep hopeing the weather will warm up so I can go back to work on the golf course !!! I think those birds are happy to see those feeders it must be slim pickings for them with snow on the ground.. Good Morning Bear - I can't believe how cold it is - It's suppose to be Spring! Those must have been some chilly little goldfinches dining at your feeders this morning! What's on your agenda today? Mercy - I'm glad you found this link...just watch out for Bear - he's quite rambunctious! ;) My Milage: My Quit Date: 2/24/2007 Smoke-Free Days: 40 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 1,412 Amount Saved: $260 Life Gained: Days: 3 Hrs: 9 Mins: 28 Seconds: 59

Hi Guys I just looked out the back door to check the bird feeders and I,ve got 4 pairs of gold finches at the feeders and its SNOWING !!!! and -10c is that any good ??? Hey Mercy thats a Teddy Bear you know the kind you like to cuddle up to :p I think really in the back of my mind it was the money that motivated me to consider quitting .I was spending $10.00 a day on cigars and all the time moaning about not having any money to do other things!! But as you all know the desire to smoke overides our common sense to do the sensible thing. How can you ***** about not having any money and spend $10.00 a day on nicotine so you smoke because you don,t have enough money!!Does that make any sense?? One of my major stressors when I retired was the money issue .When your income drops by 75% and your still living the same lifestyle you gotta know your headed for trouble..and that was the Bear. Its just amazing how much money you can end up with when you,re not spending 2 to 3 hundred a month on tobacco ;p

Hey Bear - that's not one of the Gemini Twins trying to lure you back to smoking - it's that evil NicoDemon! Don't let him in - it sounds like you are doing great! Bear....(is that brown bear...black bear...or grizzly bear?) I don't know how I have missed your posts!! I just found this one today. For what it is worth.....for someone not really wanting to quit you are doing one heck of a job. I wrote a post about a stubborn old German woman today. She is 84 or 86 now. She said someone dared her to quit when she was in her 70's. It made her mad.... and on a dare she quit and never looked back. hehe You may never find your reason......but if in your experiment not smoking you find you like doing the right thing better....that is reason enough. You can never go wrong doing the right thing!! We need some colorful characters here to liv'in things up. Nice to meet you. Hi Guys I hope everybody had a nice day. Mine was excellent!! I rewarded myself with an illuminated keyboard so I would,nt be in the dark anymore :quest: I,m still getting a buzz when I put on the patch in the morning ??? But on the whole everthing seems to be coming together just fine. There seems to be more gals than guys on this site which just confirms my suspicion that women are smarter. ;p My Milage: My Quit Date: 3/21/2007 Smoke-Free Days: 14 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 263 Amount Saved: $140 Life Gained: Days: 3 Hrs: 11 Mins: 10 Seconds: 19
