Endit Congratulations on your quit! You made the right decision and you came to the right place. This site is fantastic for help, support, advise, what ever you need. Are you usin and NRT's to help you quit. You might want to follow the program to the left of this page, it really helped me when i decided to quit. Also drinking lots of water and having vegies and sugarless gum or candy ready is helpful. We here on this site are all pulling for you, so come back often. Wishing you the best of luck. Let us know if we can help. :) My Milage: My Quit Date: 3/1/2007 Smoke-Free Days: 39 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 985 Amount Saved: $195 Life Gained: Days: 4 Hrs: 4 Mins: 10 Seconds: 28

Today is day two of not smoking. I have been smoking 35 years. I could not walk up stairs with out getting out of breath. I just got so sick of smoking I said that's it. Four days before quitting I smoked one pack a day Carltons 0.1 Nic. for 4 days. Yesterday Easter I did not smoke any that the longest I have been without a Cig for maybe 8-9 years. I am doing better than I thought I would. In the Past I said "I am trying to quit" not I say I am going to quit" I feel very dizzy and light headed but I understand that's normal.

Way to go Endit And you are so right, it can be done! I am living proof, I smoked 1-1/2 packs a day for 25+ years and now I am at 50 days SMOKE-FREE. I loved to smoke but knew for my health and my family that I had to quit. So YES IT CAN BE DONE :) My Milage: My Quit Date: 3/1/2007 Smoke-Free Days: 50 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 1,257 Amount Saved: $250 Life Gained: Days: 5 Hrs: 7 Mins: 54 Seconds: 15

Great ! You are already experiencing a difference. Each of us will have somewhat of a different experiencing when we quit. As you probably know, the first few days get rid of the addiction and the rest of your life you deal with the habit. I know it's sounds like a fantasy, but the day(s) will come when you won't believe you had been a smoker especially for such a long time and how that addiction controlled your life. I smoked for 50 years. Sunny days ahead for sure for you. Good luck ! Harrell - Free and Healing for Four Months, Fifteen Days, 22 Hours and 48 Minutes, while extending my life expectancy 11 Days and 21 Hours, by avoiding the use of 3424 nicotine delivery devices that would have cost me $516.47.
