Free,
I love your perspective and attitute. It is nice not to have to bother with a burning cig when you are studying and writing papers. Congratulation to you dear!

You guys are too kind. I am not amazing ... it really is attitude. It is all about realizing that quitting is truly a gift.
So I embraced it and have been enjoying it very much, even during the hard times. It is a process, but it is a learning process. And I have never regretting learning new things.
I don't miss it at all. In fact, it is hard to believe that I ever smoked in the first place. They are just so dirty and stinky and gross. Why I ever found that appealing is beyond me. The thought just seems so absurd to me now. I've shed my old skin and have definitely moved on.
I'm still in school for nuclear medicine and it is crazy busy, but I am super happy and holding a 4.0 gpa. All the kids(3) are doing well. My oldest has to go in for minor surgery, but I know God will see him through that just fine.
Blessings to all of you!!!
