Day 1 all over again

17 years ago 0 23 logo logo logo logo logo logo logo logo logo logo 0
I hate day one. Day one sucks. But this is going to be my last day one! I started chewing tobacco 30 years ago, then started smoking a few years after that. Finally stopped smoking and focused on smokeless tobacco for a long time. In July of last year, I kicked the can to the curb, but went back to smoking. Now my asthma has reared it's ugly head and I am having a lot of trouble breathing at night. I have tried at least 10 times to quit, but never with this much resolve. So...here I am, back at day one all over again! Only this time...it's personal!!

Welcome Supernova! I had my fifth day one (over the course of many years) 4 days ago so don't beat yourself up about doing it again. The good news is-you are doing it again. I have found more inspiration from this website than any other method I've tried before. I have found that the more time I invest in my quit the less I'm willing to screw it up. We are all here for you. Good Luck, we can do this!!!!!!!!! Welcome Supernova. You don't ever have to do day 1 again once you get through it! You have beaten the chew and you can beat this to. Just take it one minute, one hour, one day at a time. Day one was only 2 days ago for me and it is already becoming a distant memory so hang tough you can do it.
