Shazza, Why do you ask? Are you having any difficulties? Come on members, share your experiences. Danielle ______________________ The SSC Support Team

Shazza, I was just put on Welbutrin 2 weeks ago for depression. Are you asking because of your moods, or to help with cravings?? 4my2girls My Milage: My Quit Date: 3/5/2006 Smoke-Free Days: 218 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 6,565 Amount Saved: $712.86 Life Gained: Days: 17 Hrs: 14 Mins: 36 Seconds: 58

Shazza, I expierenced the depression around 2 1/2 months into my quit. At first, I knew it was part of my quit progress. However, when it wouldn't go away, and interfered with my daily activities, I knew it was a problem. I unfortunately waited until 7 months quit to seek help. By then, I was crying excessively all day long. I slept much of the day. I wanted to just 'go away'. I even thought of leaving my family just so I could be alone. This med helped me very quickly. I am feeling better everyday. My 'sad' thoughts are gone. I've stopped crying. I even laugh again. I am thankful that some of my friends here convinced me to go see the doc. If I hadn't, I would not be here today. Oh, and one more thing. I did expierence one major anxiety attack in my quit. To be honest, I do not remember when I had it. But it was a huge one! I think it all related to my life, not my quit. I was very stressed and the depression was coming to a head. Take care of yourself! Enjoy your life! Enjoy your quit! 4my2girls My Milage: My Quit Date: 3/5/2006 Smoke-Free Days: 220 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 6,616 Amount Saved: $719.4 Life Gained: Days: 17 Hrs: 17 Mins: 56 Seconds: 51

hiya shazza! congrats on 10 smoke-free says! excellent, especially with a smoker in the house! your symptoms sound like nicotine withdrawal to me, however, a check with the doctor might be a good idea. a word of caution, don't go off the zyban cold turkey...it's better to wean off it. keep it going...
